Defective Hardware Lock - Return Policy

This section outlines the procedure of returning defective hardware lock (sometimes, refer as dongle) to our company for repair or replacement. We need to send the defective hardware locks back to our software distributors to process the defective hardware locks.

The following details and/or items are needed to complete the processing:

  • Name of Company
  • Company's Telephone
  • Software that the hardware lock uses
  • Software Serial Number
  • Software Part Number (see photo below)
  • Defective Hardware Lock Serial Number (see left photo below)
  • Brand of the computer system
  • Processor speed of computer system
  • Peripherals used together with the computer system
  • Error messages that appear when software is launched
  • Photocopy of the back of the installation CD of the software,
    showing the part number and serial number of the software
    (see right photo below)

The defective hardware locks need to be brought down to our office to complete the processing.

The return of the defective hardware locks from our distributors will be entirely dependent on the processing time of our distributors. Where possible and if available, a working replacement hardware lock may be loaned during the defective hardware lock processing. The loaned hardware lock is subject to terms and conditions.
